The Supersonic Talent Merging Entertainment & Wellness
Gen Cleary, the award-winning creative director and live show producer, has been quietly knocking it out of the park for the past 25+ years, creating multi-sensory immersive experiences and events worldwide. She’s not one for for the spotlight, but her projects sure deserve it. Gen has been a pioneering lead creative for the biggest nightlife residencies and casinos — from Calvin Harris and Avicii to the Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas and the MGM Grand. She’s also proven to be just as comfortable — and successful — serving as creative lead on productions for the Olympics. Disney and brands such Mercedes Benz and Cirque du Soleil. After her own experiences with sound and music therapy helped her through some traumatic experiences, Gen is determined to answer a new calling: exploring the space between entertainment and wellness as she explores our connectivity with sound. Her latest endeavor, Sound Connective, is dedicated to harnessing the power and science of sound, music therapy, and ancient techniques employed by our ancestors and tribes. Its aim is to enhance well-being and alleviate stress and anxiety as we connect with sound beyond hearing.
For decades, renowned creative director Gen Cleary has been making waves on the Las Vegas and international nightlife scenes with her multisensory performances and residencies. Sound has always been her driving inspiration, leading to her latest project The HUM: raise your vibe on-the-go, unveiled at SXSW, as the inaugural venture of Sound Connective. The HUM aims to reduce stress, relax muscles, boost energy, stimulate imagination, and offer numerous other benefits through an engaging and sonically immersive experience. Gen plans to introduce this experience in spaces where people often feel the most out of balance, such as airports, hospitality venues, offices, hospitals, and other communal areas where anxiety runs high. She refer to her vision as “entertainment with a purpose.” The goal is to create a musical experience allowing individuals to relax, reset, and recharge in under 5 minutes as they go on a 360 spatial sonic journey and connect with sound frequencies through their entire body. Back in her Disney days, Gen took Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends on adventures filled with world-class skating, high-flying acrobatics and unexpected stunts through her Disney on Ice touring shows.
