A playwright, producer and venue owner, Randy Weiner has been called “a mad genius of nightlife” and “the leading impresario of nontraditional theatre in New York” — and he keeps earning it. With Outside the Box Amusements (OTBA) he’s built mind-bending spectacles like Come Alive!: The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular and Usher’s My Way Las Vegas residency, both balancing high-gloss entertainment with unforgettable hospitality. As a partner at Emursive he brought Sleep No More to New York and turned a crumbling Chelsea warehouse into the blueprint for modern experiential theatre. He also co-owns The Box in New York and London, legendary dens of live performance and after-dark chaos, and co-created The Stranger, a velvet-cloaked fever dream of a nightclub billed as “quite possibly the weirdest night of your life.”
