Nils Davey, Creative Director and founder of PBZ, has been turning brand worlds into places you can walk through (and maybe even eat in). For Airbnb’s "Hocus Pocus" activation in Salem, Mass., he transformed a rustic barn into the Sanderson Sisters’ cottage, complete with era-specific details and a custom spiderweb-shooting machine. As a creative partner to Airbnb’s agency Verb, he played a hands-on role from early concepting to final execution. In Los Angeles, he blended immersive storytelling with fine dining for "Yellowjackets" — a moody, high-concept experience created with Paramount and Eater. He also reimagined Mel’s Diner for "Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies," directing a nostalgia-fueled takeover that hit the sweet spot between fan service and art direction. Nils designs experiences that feel cinematic, weirdly personal and built for every kind of audience, whether you're a TikTok teen or a Grease-era original.
