Ned McNeilage plugged Sphere Entertainment directly into culture’s power grid. As Chief Creative Officer, he’s the force behind some of the Sphere’s boldest moves, transforming the world’s largest LED canvas into a headline-grabbing, skyline-shifting spectacle. Under Ned’s creative direction, the Exosphere became a main character in the Las Vegas story. He launched “Sphere of Fear,” a Halloween takeover complete with coordinated drone shows and custom immersive audio. For the city’s 120th birthday, he brought the Sphere’s digital mascot Orbi™ to life, throwing a campaign so big it wrapped Las Vegas in full technicolor nostalgia. Inside Sphere Studios, Ned leads a crew of storytellers, technologists, and artists developing multi-sensory shows and brand collaborations that stretch the limits of what a live experience can be. Previously, Ned built culture-shaping campaigns at Wieden+Kennedy, CAA, TBWA\Media Arts Lab (where he launched Apple TV+), BBH LA, and VML. His client list reads like a greatest hits album: Nike, ESPN, Coca-Cola, Samsung, AmEx, Google, and Microsoft. Now, with the Sphere as his canvas, he’s flipping the switch on what creative leadership looks like in the experience economy.
