Kelly Knapp's creative roots run deep. Trained in dance, music, sculpture, and landscape architecture, she brings a rare fluency to how people move through space. Her personal art practice digs even deeper, exploring quantum physics, metaphysics, and perception through layered experiments in light, sound, writing, and dimensional design. All of this comes into play in her work — at the intersection of creative technology and built environments, designing massive, multisensory playgrounds that leave an emotional mark. For example? She led the creative teams behind the first two Netflix Houses, opening soon in Dallas and King of Prussia. These 100,000-square-foot venues drop fans straight into their favorite Netflix stories with immersive installations, a VR arcade, nine-hole mini golf, branded dining, and the Tudum Theater. Before Netflix House, Kelly was shaping the future at Sphere Entertainment, where she laid the creative groundwork for Sphere’s immersive programming and physical design, including the venue’s interiors and custom-built scenic work. Oh, and she’s also led large-scale creative strategy and production for several PIF-backed mega-projects in the Middle East, including an innovation center and multiple theme-park-sized destinations.
