As EVP of Global Events for the NBA, Kelly Flatow has redefined what it means to be a basketball fan, whether courtside in Cleveland or thousands of miles away in Mumbai. At All-Star Weekend 2022, she introduced the HBCU Classic to national TV, turned city billboards into NFT-powered art galleries supporting COVID relief, and launched a citywide QR scavenger hunt that funneled fans to 200 minority- and women-owned businesses. She also reimagined NBA Crossover into a layered, high-touch experience with early access, behind-the-scenes tours, and a Hall of Legends exhibit that celebrated the game’s icons. Globally, Kelly scaled NBA House into a world-touring fan festival, popping up in Mexico City, Calgary, Mumbai, and São Paulo. Each stop delivered live music, meetups with former players, skills challenges, and trophy photo ops tailored to fans who may never set foot in an arena but live and breathe the game. Kelly’s playbook blends entertainment, culture, and global reach with purpose and precision. She's building new access points to the NBA powered by music, style, and storytelling just as much as jump shots.
